The Journey towards a spiritual practice- The Monday Challenge

The Journey  towards a Spiritual Practice!

I teach Happiness and a few months ago, I realized the true key to   happiness is having a spiritual practice. As an educator of Positive   psychology, I was teaching all these practical tips that made us happy and   they do but they are all also part of a spiritual practice. Let’s begin the   spiritual transformation today. I challenge you to live a life full of   happiness through a spiritual transformation. The challenge is to start   today.

Beginning the spiritual transformation- the first 8 steps with more to   come but a great start

1. Start today just by making the CHOICE to live a better, more spiritual   life. Yes, it is all about choice. You choose what type of life you want and   then your actions conform your beliefs.

2. After you choose, you must make a commitment to yourself to live   through spirit not your ego.

3. Let your fears go by being aware of your fears, accepting your fears   and then moving through them. Use the fears as a motivator to live your best   life but don’t hold on to them and let them stop you. Fear comes from the ego.   if we live a spiritual life we lose a lot of our fear naturally. We know we   are part of the whole and loved.

4. Starting a path to the true you. No more running from yourself. Make   the choice to live authentically. We do this by not worrying about what others   think, by laughing at ourselves- not taking life so seriously, learning from   your past but not dwelling there, stop striving for perfection and instead   realize your perfect being you!  Realize now, your the perfect YOU! so   you can teach your children that by your actions. There is only one of you for   a reason. Find your purpose and shine

5. Self-care is part of a spiritual practice-being healthy:   mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually allows for balance and the   strength to live your purpose.

6. Releasing the negativity by asking source/god/universe( you don’t have   to label) to help take your burden, to let go of the hurt. Forgiving yourself   first and then you can forgive others, Forgiveness is a huge part of   spirituality and without forgiveness we cant be happy. More proof of science   and spirituality are one.

7. Do you live your life by putting compassion, kindness, empathy and   love first. Asking yourself the questions: Am I being kind? Am I showing love?   Am I being empathetic and compassionate to myself and others?

8. Ask yourself: Is my purpose to be the best I can and share it   with others?
