October Happiness Habits:

Again we find ourselves at the beginning of another month. We have been doing the happiness habits for a few months now and you should be noticing the difference. Each habit takes about a month for it to produce results.
This month’s happiness habit is one of my favorites and its something you might be doing already:
Random acts of kindness
This is the easiest way to make someone else’s day better while improving your own day. Each day do something kind for someone else. It doesn’t matter who it is. Every time you do a random act of kindness, you will get a boost of happiness that lasts 24-72 hours. It also raises your self-esteem.
I know for me, the mix of gratitude and random acts of kindness made a HUGE impact on my happiness. I make sure to pay it forward as often as I can. The key to this is not expecting anything in return, do an act of kindness because you want to. The outcome doesn’t matter.
If each of us can pay it forward each day, can you imagine how the world would change?
