Finding Happiness:

Happiness can’t be defined with just one definition. We all have different definitions of happiness. We shouldn’t try to be what society or others think happiness is, we need to find our own happiness.
Finding happiness is a daily activity. Every day we decide what didn’t work in our life, what went wrong, etc. We find the negative in our lives all the time. We are so used to seeing and feeling the negative. Its subconscious for most of us, these negative thoughts about ourselves are on autopilot. We don’t even recognize how negative we could be.

If you want to be more aware of your negativity, try this exercise:
Snap 2 Awareness – For one day wear a rubber band around your wrist. Every time you have a negative thought or comment ( whether you say it aloud or to yourself) snap the rubber band. You can keep count of the snaps by keeping a small journal with you and tallying up your snaps or just feel the pain of the snaps. Either way, it will be enough of a reminder to know your being negative. Awareness is the first step towards change so just by being aware of your negativity will help you turn the table on your negativity.
After you become aware its time to change how we view our day. Ask yourself these questions at the end of each day to start finding your happiness.
1. What went well today?
2. What worked today? What was right about today?
3. What am I grateful for?
4. What did I do that was a positive today?

We see the negative automatically, we have to work a little at seeing the positive but with time and effort we can start seeing the positive instead of the negative and feel happier.
