Most of us struggle with looking for acceptance and approval from outside of ourselves.
We are so fearful of people not liking us.
Who would you be without fear?
Our fear can become part of our identity.
You identify with it so much it becomes part of you
It’s time to evaluate what fears your holding on to? Why you have them? What needs are they fulfilling?
Even fear, anger, etc. can fulfill a need. Even if it’s to justify our feelings of being unworthy and not enough.
There is a reason for it. Explore what it is.
Awareness is a key factor to letting go of and moving forward.
What would life look like without fear holding you back?
It would mean you have to take chances and step outside your comfort zone.
It would mean there would be no way to justify your inner voice that is based on such old, limiting, negative beliefs.
Actually, you would have to eliminate those fears, then what?
You have grown so custom to having these fears, they feel like a warm blanket.
To take off the blanket would feel awkward and confusing,
It would feel vulnerable.
You would have to figure out who you were without fear being part of your identity.
You would have to take responsibility for your actions and make changes.
It would be a whole new world, but… doesn’t that sound like a world you want to live in?
